In the afternoon, take a cruise that starts at the bottom of the river along the Nile and ends at the bottom of the waterfall. The Nile is the most concentrated crocodile and hippo in the world, and here in the Nile section of Murchison Falls, you can see these two gigantic creatures up close.

After an early breakfast, head to the park office at 7:00 AM for a gorilla trekking briefing. The “Master’s Guide” will tell you what to expect and tolerate during the activity and how to behave with the Ugandan gorilla family. Gorilla families will be assigned to you before you go to the park, based on your age and general health. Most gorilla trackers prefer to hire a porter to help with the extra baggage and want you to do the same.

The duration of gorilla detection depends on the location of the gorilla group you are tracking. Take as many photos as you can, because when you are together you can only watch for an hour.
